Austin-based Reytex Homes Partners with Qualico®, a Leading Western Canadian Homebuilder and Real Estate Development Company

Austin, TX – Austin-based Reytex Homes has entered into a partnership agreement with Qualico®, Western Canada’s largest single-family homebuilder and a leading real estate development company to expand their successful Canadian business to the Central Texas region.

“Over the past year we have been researching the U.S. homebuilding market, and narrowed our search to the Central Texas region, not only because it has a very robust homebuilding market, but also this market is diverse enough for our company to sustain and grow over the course of time,” states Brian Higgins, U. S. Asset Manager of Qualico.

“Qualico and Reytex Homes share a similar belief that quality construction is the single most important factor in building a home. Both Reytex Homes and Qualico have built their reputations on this belief. So it was natural that we join forces.”

According to Higgins, the Reytex Homes partnership will further the selection of entry-level and secondary homes currently available in the Austin new homes market. The company will combine their use of future forward technology and trend-setting design features to build a superior product for first- and second-time homebuyers.

Over the past few years, the Austin housing market has noticed a dramatic shift from homes ranging in the $300’s and $400’s to homes more modestly priced in the low $100’s to mid $200’s. There has also been a shift in homebuyers’ expectations in lower-priced homes. They expect the same type of quality in construction with the ability to choose upgrades when possible. Both Qualico and Reytex Homes are known for their value priced, buyer-oriented homes based on customer satisfaction.
